G'day mate! Jack here, coming at you all the way from Melbourne, Australia. As an environmentally conscious bloke and avid surfer, I'm all about sustainable stays and beachfront beauty. the Station At El Questro really hit the mark for me this New Year. The Riverview rooms stole my heart - comfy with a balcony overlooking the river, air con, and a bar fridge. the bathroom was a dream with top-notch toiletries. Being next to the Steakhouse Grill, Art Gallery, Bar, and Cantina made dining a breeze. From the Saddleback Ridge sunset tour to the stellar staff - Maxim, Sharon, and Donna - every moment was a delight. the Riverside cabin was simple but perfect for a three-night stay, and the meals at the Swinging Arm bar were spot on. This place is a gem, and I can't recommend it enough.
